The Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific kicked off on Wednesday, October 21, with Philippine Vice President Noli de Castro as keynote speaker. Organized by the Philippine Social Security Association (PhilSSA), in coordination with the Geneva, Switzerland-based International Social Security Association (ISSA), the Regional Forum is the first one held in Asia, and which focuses solely on social security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
